the INSPIRATION
This is julianna. “JUJU” for SHORT. SHE IS A YOUNG ATHLETE with her own sense of style. she’s not a fan of What is traditionally “pretty.” if she could wear sweatbands and Basketball shorts 24/7 she would. But more importantly, She’s a loyal teammate that leads with empathy both on and off the court and accepts others for who they are.
Julianna is pretty. beautiful actually. Like many young female athletes still finding their way. and they deserve to feel every bit of pretty and more for being the amazing people they are.
We Created pretty as an act of defiance against gender norms and in support of every female+ athlete that has ever felt self-conscious about their appearance and made sacrifices because of it.
AS we work towards building this company, we want julianna and all young female and non-binary athletes to know that Pretty was created for them. and, as we grow, hopefully by them as well -
Because we define pretty now.
